Why publishers add games
A daily habit, on your own pages
Puzzles are a reason to visit that does not depend on the news cycle. Gridnic gives you that habit without building a games team.
Return visits
A new puzzle every day at four levels gives readers a reason to come back tomorrow. Missed days wait in the archive.
Time on site
Readers stay to solve, then try the next level or keep going in endless play, without leaving your page.
Your revenue, your page
The games sit on your pages, so the ads, paywall and newsletter sign-up around them are yours.
Your brand, not ours
Your colors, typeface and corner radius. Readers see a games section that belongs to you.

Ways to play
Something new every day, at every level
Your daily puzzles are drawn for you alone, so your page does not show the same set as another publisher's.
Daily
A new puzzle every day at easy, medium, hard and expert.
Endless
One more puzzle whenever a reader wants it, at the level they pick.
Archive
The past year stays playable, so a reader who missed a day can catch up.
Your brand
Your look, down to the corners
Set it once in your dashboard and every game follows. The "Powered by Gridnic" badge is optional on Growth and Enterprise.
- Your palette for light and dark mode, typeface, corner radius and spacing.
- The games switch to dark mode with your page's
data-themeattribute or the reader's system setting. Try the toggle above the live Sudoku. - Nothing from the game touches your page's CSS, and nothing from your page reaches the game.
- Plays, completions and completion rate by game, level and mode in your dashboard, with CSV export.
- Player in English.
How it works
Live in three steps
The only technical step is pasting a tag. Sign up, set up your brand and go live when you are ready.
Set up your brand
Colors for light and dark mode, typeface, corner radius and the sites allowed to show the games, in your dashboard.
Paste the snippet
A placeholder where the game goes and one script tag per page. Each game gets its own sandboxed frame that sizes itself to fit.
Readers play every day
A new puzzle each day at four levels, plus endless play and an archive. You see how they play in your dashboard.

Built to sit on your page
Games your readers can rely on, on pages your team does not have to worry about.
Puzzles that are fair
Every logic puzzle is checked before it is shown: exactly one solution, reachable by logic alone, and its level matches the techniques it takes.
Fast and light
A loader under 10 KB. Each game's code loads only on pages where you place it, inside its own frame, and the puzzle engine runs in a background worker.
Privacy by default
No Gridnic cookies, no player accounts, no cross-site identity. The embed reads your IAB TCF consent, and your own Google Analytics, if you connect it, runs only after consent.
Locked to your sites
The games render only on the sites you list, and the embed lives under a stable /v1/ path that we do not break.
Why Gridnic
The games section, without the games team
How Gridnic compares with the other ways to put games on your site.
| Question | Gridnic | Build in-house | License puzzle content | Game portal widget |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Getting live | Sign up and paste one tag | Design, build and test each game | Build or adapt a player for the content | Paste a widget |
| New puzzles every day | Made and checked for you, at four levels | Your team writes or generates them | On the supplier's schedule | The same games as every other site |
| In your brand | Colors, typeface, corners, light and dark | Yes, at full build cost | Often a fixed look | The portal's brand |
| Readers stay on your site | Yes, on your pages | Yes | Yes | Often linked out to the portal |
| Upkeep | None: we make the puzzles and maintain the games; turn new ones on in your dashboard | Ongoing engineering | Editorial and production work | None, and little control |

Questions publishers ask
Will it slow my pages down?
No. The loader is under 10 KB, and a game's code loads only on pages where you place that game, inside its own frame.
Who makes the puzzles?
Gridnic makes new puzzles every day and checks every logic puzzle before it is shown: one solution, solvable by logic alone, at the level it says. Your team has no editorial work.
Do we need developers?
Only to paste a tag. If your CMS blocks scripts, a plain iframe works too.
Does it work with our consent platform?
Yes, if it uses IAB TCF v2. Until a reader gives consent, the game keeps progress in memory only and sends nothing to Google Analytics; Gridnic counts only anonymous plays and completions, with no IDs. The embed itself sets no cookies.
Do readers need an account?
No. They play straight away, and their progress stays on their device.
Can we see how readers play?
Yes. Your dashboard shows plays, completions, completion rate and hints over time, by game, level and mode, with CSV export.
What does it cost?
Start with a free 30-day trial. Plans differ by games, sites and features, never by how often your readers play. Tell us about your sites and we will quote.
